Gold Bug
Tầng X · Khu trục hạm · U.S.A. · Cao cấp
Rating B+ (Above average within its tier and class · overall score 55) · Tiền vệ Ngư lôi Khu trục hạm
A Gearing variant with the same hull and armament but detectability cut by 0.3 km to 6.06 km. The gap to its 9 km torpedoes widens to 2.94 km, letting it torpedo from stealth more safely than the regular Gearing, and its 45,980 torpedo salvo is 13% above average. A 3.06 s rudder shift and 7.17 s acceleration make it agile, 3 charges of Smoke Generator II help it get through tight spots, and Air Defense Alert II gives it decent anti-carrier defense. Its guns fire HE on a 3.3 s reload and can go for fires, but expected fires per minute are 21% below average, so its gunfight firepower is ordinary.
