Mục VIII Tuần dương hạm · Pan-America
Rating A- (Above average+ within its tier and class · overall score 65) · Dung lượng Tuần dương hạm
A Pan-American light cruiser that pours AP from eight 152 mm guns every 6.0 s, with no HE. After 40 main battery hits, Combat Instruction 'Spotting Fire' activates, granting +25% reload, +25% accuracy, and +20% penetration for 20 s, so its firepower grows the longer a fight lasts. Each Repair Party heals 20%, for up to 60% recovered, and its 38,628 effective HP is thick for a light cruiser, so it lasts a long time. One charge of Radar I lets it light up and hunt destroyers, taking a same-tier destroyer's HP in about 160 s on paper. In exchange, salvo damage is 30% below average and without HE its firepower against battleships is weak.

In 1947, the Inter-American Treaty of Reciprocal Assistance was signed in Rio de Janeiro, whereby Argentina, Brazil, and Chile were to strengthen their fleets by purchasing old U.S. Brooklyn-class cruisers. If those countries had ordered the construction of new cruisers in the United States, then the most modern Worcester-class ships would have been used as the basis for the projects.
