A German large destroyer that carries on Elbing's concept while refining its weaknesses. Its 150 mm AP has 6 km dispersion of about 72 m, 35% tighter than average, so it hits cruisers precisely even at 10.87 km and is very strong against them. Against destroyers it switches to HE, which on paper deals a same-tier destroyer's full HP in about 54 s, giving it top-of-class anti-destroyer ability. It is the only ship in the game with Sonar III (5.25 km, 15 s, 2 charges); a player review (DC Inside gallery, 2026-04-05) says that together with its 3 smoke charges it can bully other ships one-sidedly, and community tier lists rank it among the best tier X destroyers. 29,825 effective HP and AA 77% above average help it hold up, but a 5.1 s rudder shift, 7.6°/s turn rate and big hull make it sluggish, so turn early to dodge shells and torpedoes.
