Rating S- (Near elite within its tier and class · overall score 80) · Ngư lôi-bombing máy bay
A US premium carrier whose bombing and torpedo potential are both over 80% above the tier-X carrier average. Its bombers and torpedo bombers share the same high-HP airframe, so they can endure AA and deliver huge hits; dropping many torpedoes at once makes it especially deadly to battleships. In exchange, its aircraft are slow at 164 kn with a long restoration time, leaving a big gap when a squadron is lost. The ship's long 12.24 km detectability means it must stay in the rear. Its anti-destroyer ability is relatively lacking, so it shines most alongside allies who are strong at countering destroyers.
