A German destroyer with top-class AP gunnery among tier-IX destroyers. Six 128 mm guns firing every 4.0 s give 47,790 AP DPM, 30% above average, and an AP salvo 35% above average. Its destroyer-calibre AP with 149 mm penetration works well on destroyers, burning through one same-tier destroyer's HP in about 81 s on paper. Sonar II (4.5 km) reveals destroyers in smoke and even torpedoes, giving it a clear hunter role in cap fights, and other destroyers' reviews often name it as a gunboat to avoid. However, it has only one smoke and 6.48 km detectability, longer than average, so it has to work around islands when facing cruiser fire.
