Mục VIII Thiết giáp hạm · Nhật Bản
Rating D (Bottom tier within its tier and class · overall score 10) · Ánh sáng Thiết giáp hạm
A fast Japanese sniper battleship that puts the tier IX Izumo's 410 mm guns on an Amagi-line design. AP DPM is 49,969, 7% above average, and with 14.22 km range plus the High-Precision Spotter I (range +10%) it can shoot from about 15.6 km. A 30.02 kn top speed and 21.97 s acceleration make it quick to retreat when things turn bad. However, 52,111 durability, weak armor and protection, and a large hull mean it collapses quickly if it moves forward. With 12 km detectability it is easily spotted first, so positioning is everything.

After the Russo-Japanese War ended, Japan adopted the Eight-Eight Fleet Program, stipulating that the fleet was supposed to consist of eight battleships and eight high-speed armored cruisers. This plan underwent many changes—for example, armored cruisers were replaced with battlecruisers, and the number of ships was reduced. However, after the outbreak of World War I, the construction of new ships began again. The design of a new battlecruiser project was a development of the Kongō class of ships. Later, the project was changed, resulting in the creation of the Amagi class.
