A tech-tree tier VIII cruiser based on the last US treaty heavy cruiser, whose nine 203 mm guns deal 51,548 AP DPM, 5% above average. With high 269.69 mm penetration and dispersion at 10 km of about 209 m, slightly tighter than average, it steadily lands citadel damage on broadside cruisers. Its relatively flat shell arcs make mid-range destroyers easy to hit, and Rapid Reload I ×3 speeds up reloading by 18% for 20 s. A small hull and 6.3 s rudder shift make it nimble at dodging shells, and Air Defense Alert I ×3 helps against carriers. It has no torpedoes, though, so with no comeback tool in close brawls it must manage distance constantly.
