According to the wiki, its fighters grow to two squadrons; each is weak, but numbers and fast turnaround keep it competitive for air control, and its strike power, already complete on the tier VIII Shōkaku, deals slightly more damage than Essex. However, with 11.4 km detectability and a low 36,048 effective HP, it struggles to survive once the carrier itself is exposed.
