Its 9.0 s reload is 0.5 s faster than Blücher's, and its armor is good. Three charges of Sonar II find destroyers and torpedoes within 4.5 km, and 5.4 km close-range torpedoes deter approaching enemies. In exchange, it has no smoke and a long 9.0 km detectability, so it is often spotted first, and HE fire output is 17% below average.
