Six 127 mm guns firing every 3.9 s give HE DPM 14% above average and 3.34 fires per minute (13% above average), steadily burning down big ships. Its 9 km torpedoes have a salvo 29% above average and outrange its 6.3 km detectability by 2.7 km for stealth launches. However, a 34.06 kn top speed and 8.2°/s turn rate make it sluggish, so it relies on the boost (+25% speed and acceleration for 10 s) to open distance. With no smoke, spotting skill or Rapid Reload, backing off from gunboat destroyers is standard, and its torpedo arcs and minimum range are said to make finishing close targets awkward.

A variant of the first post-war destroyer project of the French Navy with new dual-purpose 127 mm guns. The need for a multipurpose main battery for destroyers became evident during World War II; however, attempts to create a suitable artillery system in France in the late 1930s were never embodied in metal. It was only in 1948, based on pre-war designs, that a 127 mm twin-gun mount was created and standardized with U.S. analogs in terms of munitions.
