A Benson-family destroyer: a Pan-Asian premium that, compared with Hsienyang, swaps Radar for Sonar. It hides well at 6.0 km detectability, and two charges of 4.5 km Sonar II reveal enemies in smoke and torpedoes, helping close-range anti-destroyer play. Its 37,760 torpedo salvo is 32% above average, but the 7.2 km range is only 1.2 km beyond its detectability, leaving little stealth-launch margin. Its four 127 mm guns reload in 3.6 s but manage only 25,933 DPM with small salvos, so it is weak in gunfights. The wiki sees no clear strength in guns or torpedoes and considers the original Hsienyang to have a higher skill ceiling.
