A US tech-tree tier VIII carrier with a composition of one flight each of fighters, dive bombers and torpedo bombers. AA 42% above the tier VIII carrier average and 41,106 effective HP make the ship sturdy. According to the wiki, its dive bombers with a high fire chance make it even more annoying than Shōkaku from a battleship's point of view. However, with only one flight each its damage per sortie is low, and its 10.92 km detectability and sluggish 3.9°/s turn rate leave the ship easily exposed. Its fighters are easily outplayed by tier VIII carriers such as Sanzang, Yorktown and August von Parseval.
