Mục IX Thiết giáp hạm · Nhật Bản
Rating B+ (Above average within its tier and class · overall score 61) · Độ dài Thiết giáp hạm
A distinctive Japanese tech-tree tier IX battleship with all three main turrets clustered forward. Nine 410 mm guns in triple turrets and three charges of Precise Aiming System II (+54% accuracy for 20 s) let it tighten its ~313 m dispersion at 12 km even further at long range. But the third turret cannot fire straight ahead, so using all nine guns means exposing a good deal of its side. The wiki names its easily citadeled hull as the main weakness. With 12.42 km detectability, 4.6°/s turning and 27.52 kn top speed, it is sluggish and spotted early, so it should snipe using islands and distance. The recent Reddit tier list is kinder than the wiki, rating it A.

One of the draft designs for a "super battleship" concept, preceding the appearance of the Yamato-class battleships. This design featured heavy armor and a sufficiently high speed, complemented by powerful main battery guns that were unconventionally placed in three turrets located at the ship's front end.
