A fast Japanese premium battleship with a 34.19 kn top speed and, unusually for a battleship, powerful torpedoes. Its torpedo salvo is 66% above average; by calculation it can burn through a same-tier battleship's HP in about 6 minutes, with torpedoes making up 35% of that. However, the 8.4 km torpedo range is 3.36 km shorter than its 11.76 km detectability, so using them means pushing in while spotted. The eight 410 mm guns are accurate, with sigma 2 and about 309 m dispersion at 12 km, but AP salvos are 14% below average. With only 57,977 effective HP, the key is using Engine Boost II to swing around the flank and set up torpedo angles.
