Black Roon
Mục IX Tuần dương hạm · Đức
Rating A- (Above average+ within its tier and class · overall score 65) · Đội ngũ Tuần dương hạm
A German Black cruiser based on Roon, with one extra Damage Control Party charge (four in total). Nine 203 mm guns on a 9 s reload give 62,291 AP DPM, 12% above average, and dispersion 7% tighter than average at 10 km lets it steadily wear down broadside cruisers with AP. Good armor and citadel layout plus high fire and flooding resistance make it tough for a cruiser. On the other hand, Sonar and Precise Aiming drop from the original's level II ×3 to level I ×2, and its torpedoes reload 24 s slower than Roon's. AA is 27% below average.

Unlike her predecessor, the ship was larger in size and carried considerably reinforced AA armament. Moreover, she had more main battery guns that were arranged differently, resulting in the ship's artillery power being concentrated at her aft end. (Limited ships are fully upgraded by default)
