Black North Carolina
Mục VIII Thiết giáp hạm · U.S.A.
Rating A (Strong within its tier and class · overall score 68) · Đội ngũ Thiết giáp hạm
The Black version of North Carolina, with the same nine 406 mm guns and 21 s reload, but 14.28 km range, 0.3 km longer, and slightly shorter 11.1 km detectability. Unlike the original with three Rapid Reload I charges, it has two Rapid Reload I charges plus Sonar I (3.75 km), giving it a way to find nearby destroyers and torpedoes. Sigma 2 and main battery DPM 8% above average make long-range gunnery solid, and AA is 33% above average. Four Damage Control charges and high fire/flooding resistance make it tough against damage over time, but its 16.8 s rudder is sluggish, so like the original it should avoid close-range brawls.

The first U.S. battleship of the new generation. The key advantage over her predecessors of this type was significantly increased speed. In contrast to preceding ships of the same type, she featured a thinner armor belt, but had very solid horizontal armor protection and a superior AA armament including numerous dual-purpose artillery. (Limited ships are fully upgraded by default)
