Black Izumo
Mục IX Thiết giáp hạm · Nhật Bản
Rating B+ (Above average within its tier and class · overall score 59) · Đội ngũ Thiết giáp hạm
The Black version of Izumo, with the same nine 410 mm guns in triple turrets all clustered forward. Instead of the original's Precise Aiming System II (×3), it gets two charges each of Precise Aiming System I (+33% accuracy) and Rapid Reload I (+18% rate of fire), plus a fourth Damage Control Party charge. AP DPM is 6% above average, so burst improves over the original, but dispersion at 12 km is about 327 m versus the original's ~313 m, making it a less reliable sniper. It must still show its side to use every gun, and 12.42 km detectability and 4.6°/s turning remain weak points. Reddit rates it A, but the wiki says it inherits the original's awkwardness.

One of the draft designs for a "super battleship" concept that preceded the appearance of the Yamato-class battleships. This design featured heavy armor and sufficiently high speed, complemented by powerful main battery guns that were unconventionally placed in three turrets located on the ship's bow. (Limited ships are fully upgraded by default)
