Black Admiral Hipper
Mục VIII Tuần dương hạm · Đức
Rating S (Elite within its tier and class · overall score 85) · Đội ngũ Tuần dương hạm
The Black version of Admiral Hipper: same guns and armor, with better survivability and scouting. The 9.0 s reload, 55,370 AP DPM (13% above average) and 12.06 km range are unchanged, so it still grinds down broadside cruisers well. Detectability is 8.4 km, 0.3 km shorter than the original, and 4 Damage Control Party charges make it resilient to fire and flooding. A new Radar I (7.2 km, 1 charge) can reveal hidden destroyers at the decisive moment. In exchange, Precise Aiming System and Sonar are reduced from the original (3 charges each, Sonar II), weakening long-range aiming support and close-range detection.

A heavy cruiser that was as good as most ships of this type. The ship boasted distinct advantages typical of German Navy ships, i.e. an advanced gun fire-control system and high level of survivability. (Limited ships are fully upgraded by default)
