Akizuki
Mục VIII Khu trục hạm · Nhật Bản
Rating B (Average within its tier and class · overall score 47) · Tàu vũ khí Khu trục hạm
A Japanese tech-tree tier VIII gunboat destroyer firing eight 100 mm dual-purpose guns every 3 s. HE DPM of 41,600 is 42% above average and it sets 4.96 fires per minute (before modifiers), 91% more than average, so it excels at burning down battleships. Per the wiki, the guns fire flat up close but arc heavily at long range, which takes time to master. It has just one quad torpedo launcher, but Torpedo Reload I ×2 lets it fire eight torpedoes back to back, and its 9 km range exceeds its detectability by 2.1 km. Its large hull, sluggish 7.2°/s turn rate and 6.9 km detectability get it spotted early, so use Smoke Generator I ×2 sparingly.

One of the most sophisticated destroyers in the Japanese Navy. This ship was specifically designed to provide anti-aircraft defense. Due to her significantly increased dimensions, she was equipped with new dual-purpose main gun mounts that had a very high rate of fire. Among the drawbacks of the ship were the relatively weak torpedo armament and an insufficiently high speed.
