Tier X · Cruiser · Japan
Rating D (Bottom tier within its tier and class · overall score 14) · Torpedo cruiser
A Japanese tech-tree tier-X cruiser combining eighteen 150 mm guns with powerful torpedoes. A full one-side torpedo spread totals up to 43,072 on paper, 27% above average, and its 9.6 km range just exceeds its 9.06 km detectability, allowing stealth torpedo attacks by a narrow margin. AA is 26% above average, and three uses of Air Defense Alert IV make it reliable against carriers. On the other hand, a 10.0 s reload and dispersion 12% wider than average leave main battery firepower below average, and a sluggish 6.0°/s turn rate makes dodging difficult. Recent tier lists also place it in the lower tier, so it is a low priority at its tier.
