Yahagi
Tier V · Cruiser · Japan · Premium
Rating D (Bottom tier within its tier and class · overall score 12) · Stealthy cruiser
Stealthy cruiser, suited to AA escort. It is weak against cruisers (AP deals a same-tier cruiser's HP in about 4 min on paper). Its 8.4 km torpedoes outrange its 6.9 km detectability by 1.5 km, ideal for stealth ambushes. Detectability of 6.9 km is 0.7 km below average, so it is less likely to be spotted first. Key skills: Engine Accelerator I ×2 (top speed +8%, 25 s); Air Defense Alert I ×2. Its firepower trails other cruisers, so pick favorable angles and ranges over straight DPM races.
