An Italian tech-tree tier-X cruiser whose fifteen 203 mm SAP guns deliver a 15,615 salvo. SAP cannot overpenetrate, so it quickly shuts down destroyers charging in under smoke and also hits cruisers hard per salvo. A 35.86 kn top speed plus 3 charges of Fuel Smoke II make it good at hiding on the move and disengaging, but 21.98 s acceleration and an 11.4 s rudder shift make sudden evasion difficult. With 10.14 km detectability and a large hull, it is easily spotted first, so positioning matters. Once shunned after nerfs, it has since been buffed and is now rated at the very top of recent tier lists.
