A heavy cruiser with a similar design to the early version of Soviet Project 82, initially equipped with nine 220 mm guns as her main armament. The ship's main battery guns are complemented by dual-purpose anti-aircraft guns developed by the mid-1950s. Around that same time, the ship could have been transferred to the People's Republic of China Navy had history taken a different course.
