Rating S (Elite within its tier and class · overall score 85) · Gunnery cruiser
An Italian premium cruiser nearly identical to Venezia on paper, firing fifteen 203 mm SAP guns every 11.5 s for a 15,609 salvo. SAP never overpenetrates, so it hits destroyers and light cruisers especially hard, and its 4 km Sonar reveals destroyers in smoke and incoming torpedoes, giving it excellent anti-destroyer ability. A 35.86 kn top speed and 3 charges of Fuel Smoke II let it hide on the move and slip away. However, 21.98 s acceleration and an 11.4 s rudder shift make it sluggish, and its 9.6 km torpedoes fall short of its 9.9 km detectability, so stealth torpedoing is difficult. Recent community tier lists consistently rank it at the very top.
