Stalingrad
Tier X · Cruiser · U.S.S.R. · Premium
Rating C (Weak within its tier and class · overall score 29) · Long-range cruiser
A Soviet premium large cruiser whose strength is nine high-velocity, flat-trajectory 305 mm guns. Shells group well, and with a 250% citadel multiplier and 395.7 mm penetration it deals heavy damage to cruisers even at the edge of its 13.92 km range. HP of 53,852 is 19% above average, giving it staying power, but its armor is soft for its size, so it keeps getting chipped once battleships target it. A 34.5 kn top speed is fast in a straight line, and patch 9.2 improved acceleration and turning responsiveness by about 10%, but it is still sluggish, and 12.18 km detectability is very long. The reload also dropped from 14 to 12.5 s in 9.2, yet AP DPM is still 12% below average, so it supports the line with allies rather than turning games alone.
