Plymouth
Tier IX · Cruiser · U.K. · Premium
Rating S- (Near elite within its tier and class · overall score 81) · Gunnery cruiser
Gunnery cruiser, suited to DD hunting. It is weak against battleships (AP deals a same-tier battleship's HP in about 15 min on paper · torpedoes supply 40% of it). Top speed is 30.9 kn (2 kn below average), but 11.4 s acceleration and 7.5°/s turning make it exceptionally nimble at dodging shells and snapping turns. A glass cannon: huge firepower, but low HP means it melts under focus fire. Its AP main battery DPM of 72,448 is 32% above the same-tier cruiser average. AP-only, but its destroyer-calibre shells rarely overpen, so they work on destroyers too.
