Musashi
Tier IX · Battleship · Japan · Premium
Rating A (Strong within its tier and class · overall score 72) · Damage-tank battleship
Damage-tank battleship. Its 460mm guns carry a 300% citadel multiplier, so a salvo that citadels can deal up to 60,534. Wide dispersion makes it a high-variance gun, though. 68,539 effective HP and a bow most big guns can't overmatch make it a frontline tank. Sluggish rudder shift means you must start turning early to dodge shells and torpedoes. Its weak detectability (12.6 km) drops to 11.21 km with a stealth/mobility equipment build (at −5% HP).

A Yamato-class battleship, and Yamato’s only sister ship to be commissioned. Just like Yamato, Musashi was the biggest warship of World War II. Upon completion, and in contrast to her subsequently modernized sister ship, she had more powerful secondary battery guns, but weaker AA defenses.
