Minekaze
Tier V · Destroyer · Japan
Rating D (Bottom tier within its tier and class · overall score 3) · Agile destroyer
Agile destroyer. It is weak against cruisers (AP deals a same-tier cruiser's HP in about 10 min on paper · torpedoes supply 52% of it). Top speed of 38.6 kn is high, but sluggish acceleration make sudden dodges hard. Key skills: Engine Accelerator I ×2 (top speed +8%, 25 s). Weak guns: avoid gunfights and focus on torpedoes or spotting. A firepower equipment build improves reload 7.5→7.12 s, dispersion 157→143 m.

A ship that had a remarkable influence on the development of destroyers in the Imperial Japanese Navy. Owing to her powerful turbines, Minekaze could produce very high speeds that were superior to many of the destroyers built later.
