A British tech-tree tier-X carrier that wins through fast turnaround and stacking fires and flooding rather than big single hits. Per-strike bombing and torpedo damage are 38% and 58% below average respectively, but its carpet bombers drop many bombs that start fires well, and squadron HP is fairly good. At 192 kn its aircraft cross AA quickly and the gap between attacks is short. With few fighters, they are better for guarding the skies over allies than for head-on air superiority battles. Its pick rate has dropped as strong premium carriers like Franklin D. Roosevelt became common, but its steady sustained damage remains useful.
