Tier VII · Destroyer · Italy
Rating A (Strong within its tier and class · overall score 73) · Gunboat destroyer
Gunboat destroyer, suited to light-armor shredding, DD hunting. It is especially strong against destroyers and cruisers (SAP deals a same-tier destroyer's HP in about 85 s on paper). A glass cannon: huge firepower, but low HP means it melts under focus fire. Its SAP main battery DPM of 33,873 is 30% above the same-tier destroyer average. Top speed of 39.5 kn is 2.9 kn above average, with good turning. Detectability of 6.36 km is 0.11 km above average, so it gets spotted early; move behind islands.

The Navigatori class were a group of destroyers built for the Italian Navy in 1928 and 1929 as a response to the large destroyers being constructed for the French Navy. These destroyers, initially classed as scouts, were significantly larger than the preceding class and had almost twice the displacement.
