Le Terrible
Tier VIII · Destroyer · France · Premium
Rating C- (Quite weak within its tier and class · overall score 22) · Gunboat destroyer
Gunboat destroyer, suited to DD hunting. Top speed of 41.1 kn is high, but sluggish rudder and acceleration make sudden dodges hard. AP penetration of 176 mm is 47% above average and handles thick armor. Key skills: Engine Accelerator III ×2 (top speed +16%, 25 s); Rapid Reload III ×2 (main battery reload +100%, 15 s); Sonar II ×2 (4.5 km, 25 s). Detectability of 6.9 km is 0.61 km above average, so it gets spotted early; move behind islands. Its weak detectability (6.9 km) drops to 6.07 km with a stealth/mobility equipment build (at −5% HP).
