L'Adroit
Tier V · Destroyer · France
Rating A- (Above average+ within its tier and class · overall score 66) · Long-range destroyer
Long-range destroyer, suited to fire pressure, cap contesting. It is especially strong against cruisers (HE deals a same-tier cruiser's HP in about 4 min on paper · torpedoes supply 30% of it). With 8.3 km range and tight groupings but low speed, it suits setting up behind the line and firing from afar. High HE fire potential (2.1 fires/min before hit rate and resistance). Key skills: Emergency Engine Accelerator ×4 (top speed +25%, acceleration +25%, 10 s). At 33.1 kn it is slow, so commit to a flank early.

One of the 14 French destroyers of the 1920s was the successor of the Bourrasque class. These ships were built to address the shortage of modern destroyers in the French Navy. New 130 mm guns and slightly larger dimensions distinguished them from the prototype. During World War II, the lead ship, L'Adroit, performed patrol and escort duties, but she was lost in May 1940 while covering the Allied evacuation from Dunkirk.
