Kitakaze
Tier IX · Destroyer · Japan
Rating B- (Below average within its tier and class · overall score 45) · Gunboat destroyer
Gunboat destroyer, suited to fire pressure, long-range fire support, DD hunting. It is especially strong against battleships (HE deals a same-tier battleship's HP in about 3 min on paper). Firing 8 100mm guns every 3 s, it reaches 41,600 HE DPM and sets frequent fires. Main battery range is 9.5 km (0.8 km longer than average), and dispersion at 6 km is about 102 m, 10% tighter than average. High HE fire potential (5.0 fires/min before hit rate and resistance). Sluggish turning means you must start turning early to dodge shells and torpedoes.
