Katori
Tier III · Cruiser · Japan · Premium
Rating C+ (Lower-mid within its tier and class · overall score 32) · Torpedo cruiser
Torpedo cruiser, suited to torpedo ambush. Top speed is 19.3 kn (6.4 kn below average), but 9.8 s acceleration and 5.7 s rudder shift and 8.2°/s turning make it exceptionally nimble at dodging shells and snapping turns. Its 7.5 km torpedoes outrange its 6.3 km detectability by 1.2 km, ideal for stealth ambushes. Detectability of 6.3 km is 0.51 km below average, so it is less likely to be spotted first. Key skills: Precise Aiming System I ×3 (main battery accuracy +33%, 20 s); Torpedo Reload I ×2. Its firepower trails other cruisers, so pick favorable angles and ranges over straight DPM races.
