Rating C- (Quite weak within its tier and class · overall score 19) · Stealth torpedo destroyer
A Japanese torpedo destroyer that uses Shimakaze's torpedoes with one fewer launcher, but adds smoke and more HP. Its 10.2 km torpedoes outrange its 6.36 km detectability by 3.84 km, allowing long-range attacks without being spotted, and the Torpedo Reload skill lets it rival Shimakaze's torpedo volume at decisive moments. Two smoke charges and 21,413 HP give it more breathing room than the original, but top speed drops to 37.0 kn. Its guns have a 4.5 s reload and a short 8.46 km range, not enough for gunfights with destroyers. As a gold ship it can easily be assigned the commander Mikawa to add more smoke, which is also cited as a plus.
