SAP deals heavy direct damage to destroyers, light cruisers and superstructures with no overpens, but it cannot start fires or damage armor thicker than its penetration. Key skills: Fuel Smoke I ×2 (9 s deploy, 3 s linger); Rapid Reload I ×2 (main battery reload +18%, 20 s); Sonar I ×2 (3.75 km, 25 s). Fuel smoke hides it even at full speed for hit-and-run play, but it clears quickly.
