Rating B- (Below average within its tier and class · overall score 43) · Stealthy cruiser
A British premium heavy cruiser based on Goliath that drops HE and torpedoes in favor of stronger AP and smoke. Its twelve 234 mm guns deal a 12,492 AP salvo, 30% above the tier X cruiser average, hitting broadside cruisers hard in a single volley. With 4 smoke charges, it suits laying smoke, popping Rapid Reload inside it to dump damage, then chaining into the next smoke. Good gun arcs make switching between a bow-on stance and full-broadside fire easy. On the other hand, a 31.7 kn top speed and 15.7 s acceleration make it heavy-footed and hard to extract once spotted, and with no Air Defense Alert, carrier games are a burden.
