Gelderland
Tier II · Cruiser · Netherlands
Rating D (Bottom tier within its tier and class · overall score 14) · Agile cruiser
Agile cruiser. It is weak against destroyers (AP deals a same-tier destroyer's HP in about 3 min on paper · destroyer-calibre AP rarely overpens destroyers). Top speed is 22.0 kn (2.4 kn below average), but 4.8 s rudder shift and 8.4°/s turning make it exceptionally nimble at dodging shells and snapping turns. Its firepower trails other cruisers, so pick favorable angles and ranges over straight DPM races. A firepower equipment build improves reload 7.5→7.12 s, dispersion 156→142 m. Shells spread widely, so fight at medium range or wait for broadsides.
