Ernst Gaede
Tier VI · Destroyer · Germany
Rating B (Average within its tier and class · overall score 48) · Gunboat destroyer
Gunboat destroyer, suited to DD hunting. It is especially strong against destroyers and battleships (AP deals a same-tier destroyer's HP in about 2 min on paper · destroyer-calibre AP rarely overpens destroyers). Firing 4 128mm guns every 4.5 s, it reaches 27,627 AP DPM and sets frequent fires. Effective HP of 16,016 is 12% above average. High HE fire potential (2.0 fires/min before hit rate and resistance). Sluggish rudder shift means you must start turning early to dodge shells and torpedoes.
