A German large destroyer that is closer to a light cruiser than a destroyer. Its 150 mm AP has 260 mm penetration and very tight 6 km dispersion of about 74 m, letting it precisely hit thin sections of cruisers and battleships out to 11.28 km. Four of its six guns face aft, making kiting (laying smoke and firing while retreating) natural, and its 30,356 HP is high. Its 150 mm AP rarely overpenetrates destroyers, so its accurate guns also handle destroyers well (on paper a same-tier destroyer's HP in about 87 s), but the 6.0 s reload is long and a 5.7 s rudder shift with a 7.1°/s turn rate make it sluggish to escape danger zones. Patch 9.4 added the Emergency Repair specialty, so its Repair Kit heals 20% more, and cut the reload of its slow, roughly 50 kn torpedoes from 66.5 to 57 s, so it can block chokepoints more often.
