Curtatone
Tier II · Destroyer · Italy
Rating S+ (Top of the class within its tier and class · overall score 94) · Gunboat destroyer
Gunboat destroyer, suited to light-armor shredding, fire pressure, DD hunting. It is especially strong against cruisers and battleships (SAP deals a same-tier cruiser's HP in about 111 s on paper). Its SAP main battery DPM of 16,647 is 47% above the same-tier destroyer average. SAP deals heavy direct damage to destroyers, light cruisers and superstructures with no overpens, but it cannot start fires or damage armor thicker than its penetration. It also carries HE to switch as needed. Its 5.5 km range is short, so use islands and fight inside 5 km.
