Burrows
Tier X · Destroyer · U.S.A.
Rating B- (Below average within its tier and class · overall score 46) · Agile destroyer
A fast US destroyer that survives on outstanding mobility and split smoke. A 36.7 kn top speed with a 2.84 s rudder shift and 6.9 s acceleration make it extremely nimble, and 25,873 HP, 12% above average, lets it dodge shells and last a long time. Split Smoke III provides 36 s of smoke in total that can be laid in pieces, ideal for short bursts in each emergency, and it covers the lack of a spotting skill. Its six 137 mm guns deal salvo damage 13% above average, but 6 km dispersion of about 149 m, 36% wider than average, hurts long-range accuracy. Its torpedoes have salvo damage 49% below average and serve only as a backup weapon.
