However, a short 12.12 km range and 9.48 km detectability get it spotted first, and it lacks detection or survival skills like Radar or smoke. The wiki sees little reason to pick it, as its reload is 2 s slower than Des Moines and it has no detection skill.

This heavy cruiser design appeared soon after the completion of development of cruiser Baltimore and was her direct successor (Project CA-B). Her increased water displacement allowed engineers to significantly reinforce her armor protection and armament. The number of main guns was augmented to total of 12 overall.
