A Shimakaze variant that keeps its powerful torpedoes but swaps the standard smoke for Fuel Smoke. Its 77,130 torpedo salvo is, on paper, 93% above average, and its 10.2 km range exceeds its 6.36 km detectability by 3.84 km, allowing long-range torpedo attacks without being spotted. Two charges of Fuel Smoke break line of sight even while running at its 39.5 kn top speed, making escape after being spotted much easier than on the original. The main battery is weak with a 5.0 s reload, but Rapid Reload II briefly boosts firepower to keep destroyers in check. However, with only 19,765 HP and AA 45% below average, it struggles to survive once caught.
