Black Nebraska
Tier VIII · Battleship · U.S.A.
Rating D (Bottom tier within its tier and class · overall score 8) · Balanced battleship
Balanced battleship, suited to AA escort, air scouting. Launching aircraft every 60 s lights up enemies behind islands and near smoke, a big scouting asset for the team, and its bomber strikes (10 bombs at 1,239 each) reach targets beyond gun range. With 4 Damage Control charges it shrugs off fire and flooding combos. Key skills: Rapid Reload II ×2 (main battery reload +43%, 20 s); Air Defense Alert I ×2. Its firepower trails other battleships, so be selective and punish broadsides. A firepower equipment build improves reload 21→19.95 s, dispersion 331→301 m.

In the process of designing the North Carolina-class battleships, the "F project" was developed—a combination of a battleship and aircraft carrier. However, the preliminary design didn't include a flight deck: the aircraft were supposed to be launched by catapults, and the air group was extremely small. If necessary, the project could have been reworked as a full-fledged hybrid battleship-carrier with the hangar transferred to the stern and a flight deck installed.
