Black Amalfi
Tier VIII · Cruiser · Italy
Rating A- (Above average+ within its tier and class · overall score 67) · Durable cruiser
Durable cruiser, suited to DD hunting, light-armor shredding. It is especially strong against battleships (SAP deals a same-tier battleship's HP in about 4 min on paper). Top speed of 36.6 kn is high, but sluggish rudder and acceleration make sudden dodges hard. With 4 Damage Control charges it shrugs off fire and flooding combos. Effective HP of 38,366 is 7% above average, and smoke, a small hull, armor help it last. SAP deals heavy direct damage to destroyers, light cruisers and superstructures with no overpens, but it cannot start fires or damage armor thicker than its penetration.
