Tier IX · Destroyer · U.S.A. · Premium
Rating C- (Quite weak within its tier and class · overall score 19) · Agile destroyer
Agile destroyer. It is weak against battleships (HE deals a same-tier battleship's HP in about 10 min on paper · torpedoes supply 46% of it). Top speed is 35.9 kn (0.8 kn below average), but 3.1 s rudder shift and 10.7°/s turning make it exceptionally nimble at dodging shells and snapping turns. Add 3 charges of Smoke Generator to break vision whenever it gets caught, and its survivability is very high. Its 8.1 km torpedoes outrange its 6.18 km detectability by 1.9 km, ideal for smoke-backed ambushes. Main battery range is 8.5 km, and dispersion at 6 km is about 107 m, 5% tighter than average.
