Amagi
Tier VIII · Battleship · Japan
Rating A- (Above average+ within its tier and class · overall score 65) · High-firepower battleship
High-firepower battleship, suited to long-range fire support. It is especially strong against cruisers (AP deals a same-tier cruiser's HP in about 3 min on paper). Its 410mm guns carry a 250% citadel multiplier, so a salvo that citadels can deal up to 48,975. Tight groupings let it reliably punish broadsides. A glass cannon: huge firepower, but low HP means it melts under focus fire. Detectability of 12.36 km is 1.22 km above average, so it gets spotted early; move behind islands.

A battlecruiser design with very powerful artillery. Though outclassed by other battleships of her time in terms of armor, Amagi was, to a great extent, superior to them in terms of speed.
