Tier VI · Destroyer · France · Premium
Rating B+ (Above average within its tier and class · overall score 57) · Gunboat destroyer
Gunboat destroyer, suited to fire pressure. It is especially strong against cruisers (AP deals a same-tier cruiser's HP in about 3 min on paper · torpedoes supply 26% of it). Its HE main battery DPM of 24,511 is 18% above the same-tier destroyer average. Effective HP of 17,191 is 20% above average. High HE fire potential (2.4 fires/min before hit rate and resistance). Sluggish turning means you must start turning early to dodge shells and torpedoes.

The lead ship in a series of large destroyers (contre-torpilleurs), a typical type of ship in the French Navy, designed specifically to hunt down enemy destroyers. The ship was large and fast. She was on par with contemporary destroyers in terms of the strength of her torpedo armament, yet considerably outclassed them in terms of artillery power owing to her five 139 mm guns.
