Admiral Makarov
Tier VI · Cruiser · U.S.S.R. · Premium
Rating S- (Near elite within its tier and class · overall score 84) · Gunnery cruiser
Gunnery cruiser, suited to DD hunting. It is especially strong against cruisers (AP deals a same-tier cruiser's HP in about 116 s on paper). A glass cannon: huge firepower, but low HP means it melts under focus fire. Its AP main battery DPM of 47,784 is 26% above the same-tier cruiser average. Key skills: Rapid Reload I ×2 (main battery reload +18%, 20 s); Air Defense Alert I ×2.

In 1945, German cruiser Nürnberg was ceded to the Soviet Union as war reparations. Subsequently, she was renamed and partially rearmed. During the upgrade that followed, the ship's automatic AA guns and other equipment were changed, but her rapid-fire main guns, which were quite powerful for a ship of her size, were retained.
